Sony Ericsson is trying to dance on old tunes. Once again, they have worked for the love of music and for the spirit of music lovers. The concept behind Zylo is derived from it old model Walkman, which surely created a niche for itself. Since the target customers for this type of product are more young and aesthetic in their approach, Sony Ericsson has tried to revamp this market segment.

Zylo is blessed with sleek looks and awesome sound quality. It has 2.6 inch TFT, scratch resistance screen, with 262 thousand-colour refection intensity and a normal numeric keyboard beneath the screen. The connectivity feature is supported by HSDPA and HSUPA. It has 3-mega pixel camera with no auto focus and 24 frames per second VGA quality video recording. Being a music box it has outstanding audio quality, FM radio supported by RDS and stereo Bluetooth. It has an inbuilt memory of 250 MB with micro SD card slot.
The areas where this device surely makes a bleak entry are lack of USB port, 3.5mm audio jack, no memory card, no auto focus and no document viewer. The connectivity of this device lack Wi-Fi and GPS and the display screen is not touch friendly. With all these imperfections, it is still a perfect music jockey for its user and hence goes well for people who are more concerned with music than with other liberating features.
However, in the era of smart phones and cutthroat competition, where people want multiplicity at their fingertip, the existence of Sony Ericsson Zylo with limited features is a big question. As the smart phones are restructuring the market and people’s needs, it is believed that they are breaking the code of simplicity.
